It’s tax time again, and help is on the way.

This year, following in a decade long tradition, tax help will be available thanks to AARP volunteers. Although it is a service for seniors, the tax-help volunteers will help all those with low to moderate incomes. Tax help is free, and will be held in the Main Library meeting room.
The program starts February 2nd, and runs through April 13th. The days and hours are Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Patrons arriving before the library opens must enter the library building on the East side, where they may enter the meeting room.
In addition, the library will have available paper copies of the more popular forms. All reproducible forms are available on the IRS website. Library staff will help you get the forms you need, but are unable to offer tax assistance.
