Learning Express is an electronic resource that offers practice tests, learning centers, and career skills information. Practice tests include: GED, U.S. Citizenship, ACT, PSAT, SAT, and many AP courses. Additionally, there are skill building exercises that are age specific (elementary school- adult) to improve math, reading, and writing skills, as well as tutorials for computer programs, such as Microsoft Office.
Learning Express is free to library patrons. To access Learning Express, click the ‘Research & Databases button on the library’s homepage, then click on the letter “L” from the alphabet listed beneath the page title. This will take you down to databases starting with the letter “L” and to Learning Express.
When accessing the database from a home computer, use the ‘Remote Access’ link and remember that the user will need their library card number. For access within the library, no borrower information is required – simply click the ‘Library Access’ link.
